I am a monarchist, though not a wedding enthusiast (I'd never get married myself!) I did respect the rights of the rest of my family not to watch it though, and did not gush about it afterwards or try to engage people in wedding conversation who plainly did not want to chat about it. <br /><br />But that hat!! When it came onscreen my response was this: 'WHAT THE...!!!! OH... MY... GOD!!!!'
